How Points Work
What qualifies for collab points?
To earn collab points, another streamer must be personally visible on your screen during your stream. You can earn a collab point if someone is with you on cam IRL, however, they must either be playing with you or giving game input. Collab points count for who is there -and- shown on your screen. If you stream with 5 other people, yet 4 appear on your stream, you earn 4 points.
As an example:
If Tom co-streams with Marie and they play WoW, Tom gets 1 point. If Tom co-streams with Marie, Nadia, and Kibby and they play WoW, Tom gets 3 points.
Cooldowns, continuing with our example:
If Tom co-streams with Marie and they play WoW, then in less than 24 hours he plays WoW again with Marie, Tom is excluded from the new point. If Tom co-streams with Marie and they play WoW, then in less than 24 hours he plays WoW again with Marie but Nadia joins, Tom can earn a new point. If Tom co-streams with Marie and they play a different game than WoW — say, Counter-Strike — within 24 hours of WoW, Tom will get that additional point.
What does not qualify:
You cannot earn a point for giving commentary on other streams — this includes live time during a tournament or gameplay OR giving commentary on past streams. No avatar collab points. We value in person presence to maintain streaming effort and keep to what is genuine. We have the right to refuse collab videos for what we deem as "short term" presence, as in a co-streamer only appearing for a negligible amount of time.
