Services are offered only in the U.S. and not directed to EEA users. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given to them in our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to facilitate the housing listing process, connect Hosts with Seekers and operate, and improve the Site and our business.

2.1 Information You Provide to Us.

• Account Data: When you register, we collect your email address.
• Profile Data: If you are a Host, in order to create a listing and match you with a Seeker, we collect information about the Location, including the address, photos and descriptions of the space, and any other details (e.g., square footage, amenities and platforms & games you stream).
• Communications: We store messages sent through our platform and inquiries sent to our support team.
• Documents and Images: We collect text-based documents, images and videos you upload (e.g., sample contracts, photos or videos of the residence).
• Payment Information: If you transact on the Site (e.g., paying listing fees), our third-party payment processor collects your payment details (such as name, email, billing address, credit card number, CVV and expiration date). We do not store your financial information; we only retain a tokenized record of the transaction for our records.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically.

• Log Data: Like most websites, we collect information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and referral URLs.
• Usage Data: We track how you interact with the Site, including listing history, message patterns, and login frequency.

2.3 Cookies.

We use “cookies” (small data files stored on your device) strictly for session management and authentication—e.g. to keep you logged in as you navigate the Site. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or behavioral tracking.

2.4 Do Not Track Signals.

We do not track you across third-party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.

2.5 Social Login & Imported Profile Data.

StreamerHomes offers registration and sign-in through third-party social login providers, including Twitch, Google, and Discord. When you register using one of these providers, we may automatically import certain profile data made available by that provider, including but not limited to your display name or username, profile photo, and associated platform channel URLs (e.g., your YouTube or Twitch channel).

This data is imported solely to pre-populate your StreamerHomes profile and improve your registration experience. You are informed of and agree to this usage by creating an account on our platform. All imported profile data remains editable from your profile settings at any time. You may also request permanent deletion of any or all data associated with your account by visiting our Data Deletion Request page or contacting us directly.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Operate, maintain and improve the Site and our business.
• Verify premises exists.
• Verify streamers exist on platforms they mention and games they stream.
• Verify streamers put forward accurate subscriber and viewer counts (so as to maintain authenticity of posts, and messages).
• Communicate with you regarding your account or listings.
• Comply with law or regulations.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your data to third parties. We share data only in the following circumstances:

• Between Users:
  • Listing Information: Seekers will see listing information (including the photos, videos and text-based details about the listing).
  • Communications: Messages exchanged between Hosts and Seekers will be available for both to see.
  • Reviews/Ratings: Reviews/ratings of Hosts and Seekers may be made publicly available on the Site.
• Service Providers: We use trusted third-party providers to operate our business, specifically,
  • Hosting: Bluehost or other reputable hosting provider
  • Database: Google Console, and Google Firebase/Firestore or other reputable database provider
  • Payment Processors: We share transaction data with our third-party payment processors
  • YouTube API: We use the YouTube Data API v3 to read public channel information during registration. We do not share your YouTube data with any third parties.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety and rights of Streamer Homes or others.
• Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Retention

• Account Data: We retain your account information and any data listed above as long as your account remains active. An account is active if it has logged into the Site at least once every 90 days. We may close inactive accounts and retain limited records for compliance purposes.
• Listing Data: Completed listings may be retained and visible in our Completed Listings section for approximately 60 days, after which they may be archived.
• Auction History: We retain historical listing data for internal analytics, record-keeping, and to improve the Site and our business.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including the use of database security provided by Google Firebase. However, no transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please ensure your computer is up to date with the latest antivirus, firewall and security updates, and use the Site while employing best security practices.

7. State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence (e.g., California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, etc.), you may have specific rights regarding your personal information. These rights vary by state, and we will respond to your requests in accordance with the applicable law of your jurisdiction.
